Youth Baseball Clinic - Ages 8 to 12 yrs.

Wakefield High School Baseball "Prospects" Clinic.  The Wakefield high school baseball program will be putting on a Prospects Clinic on April 16th and 17th at the Wakefield High School, Walsh Field from 9 am to 12. 

The Clinic will focus on skill development in all tools of the game.  All prospects will learn to throw, field and hit the same way the players at Wakefield High School practice and play.  There will be drill and practice stations revolving around proper throwing mechanics, base running, proper fielding positioning and different hitting techniques.  All attendees will participate in game situations and scenarios where they can compete against all other prospects. 

The Clinic will be staffed by current Wakefield High school players and coaches.  This Prospect Clinic will provide valuable instruction and fun so that the future of Wakefield High School baseball can reach down to all levels of baseball in Wakefield. 

We will also have guest speaker, Steve Lomasney, former Red Sox and Orioles minor league player.

*All proceeds from the clinic will benefit the Wakefield high school baseball team.  In the event of bad weather the clinic will be held inside at the Field House.
