Sports Zone 101 - Tournament of Champions
For Kids Grades K – 5
This summer in Wakefield is going to be a lot of fun for many kids with our awesome SZ101 team! In all our action-packed weeks, kids will participate in a variety of games, such as street hockey, soccer, football, battleship, four corners, dodge ball, basketball and many others during our fun-filled week. In addition to learning the fundamentals of these sports, we will have exciting discussions about current events in sports, good sportsmanship and understanding the cool statistics on sports cards. Each participant will receive a daily pack of cards as a major prize. These prizes help emphasize value and are a fun way to enhance learning! We also have our weekly “SLUSH DAY” which is a fan-favorite for all our kids every week!
For this special Summer Vacation Program, all kids will be divided into their proper age groups upon arrival. Kids will get a chance to play against their friends in friendly competition.
SUMMER 2022 THEMES:
Each of our weeks this upcoming summer will have a “SPECIAL THEME”. Please make sure to check which theme our weeks will be. All programs will provide each child the opportunity to play all their favorite games each week!
This program is open to both boys and girls.

$199 for the full week, full day
$135 for the full week, half day
DROP IN: $30 for half day. $50 for Full Day
FULL DAY: 9am to 3pm

Weeks Running at Civic Center (Field)
WEEK 1: June 27th- July 1st (Welcome to Summer)
Welcome to the start of summer vacation. This week will serve as an introduction to some of our popular games and themes. We will play all our traditional favorite games in our Tournament of Champions format! Come enjoy the start of summer with all your friends and classmates!
Week 8: August 15th – August 19th (World Cup Week)
This week we will be running our World Cup tournament for all kids to participate in! Kids will be paired off into teams and then pick a country name. We will then start our tournament where all the different countries will face off in a week-long tournament to see which team wins the cup! Good luck to all our countries!
WEEK 9: August 22nd- August 26th (Nerf Battlefields & Mystery Week)
This week is filled with mystery with the different activities we will run at Sports Zone. One thing we can tell you is that we will be adding Nerf into our activities. Kids will get to play and strategize throughout the day in special Nerf Missions using our inflatable Nerf Obstacles. Equipment is provided; however kids are welcome to bring their own gear to participate!
WEEK 10: August 29th – September 2nd (Back to School Week)
This week will help get kids back to school for the 2022-2023 school year. We are looking forward to our final week of summer, playing all our favorite games. We thank you all for your participation this summer 2022!
WEEK 11: September 6th - DROP IN ONLY, NO PRE-REGISTRATION
We will offer a bonus days this summer with kids going back to school in Wakefield on Wednesday, September 7th. We look forward to playing some of our favorite games with you in preparation toward the 2022-2023 school year.
