Children's Playhouse
Our general mission statement.

  • Children's Playhouse of Wakefield is a community theatre dedicated to youth performers ages 18 and under.

  • Our goal is to provide exceptional performance training, and high quality theatre productions for youth.

  • We believe that working with children through the arts enables them to gain confidence, a sense of responsibility and accomplishment, an appreciation for the arts and become well-rounded community citizens.

Looking for a high quality theatre program for your young actor, look no further! Children’s Playhouse of Wakefield enables theatre-loving young actors to develop confidence, characterization, stage movement, and use of voice/presentation skills through ensemble performance. Our classes are a combination of acting training, character exploration, and theatre activities to keep your student engaged and learning. We put the student’s creativity and imagination to work as we act, sing, and dance through various pieces of theatre.
