Children's Playhouse of Wakefield is thrilled to announce auditions for our upcoming production of Lion King Kids! Join us for this exciting opportunity to be part of a beloved Disney classic. Please register through Wakefield Recreation before signing up for an audition.
Audition Details:
  • Audition Dates: September 16th and 17th. Follow this link to register for a time slot. 
  • Location: Americal Civic Center- Heritage Room
  • Age Range: Open to children entering grades 1-5
  • What to Prepare: Please prepare a short song from a musical or Disney song. Please bring a backing track on a device.  (no acapella auditions, please).
  • Additional Information: Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared for a fun and energetic audition experience!
Production Details:
  • Rehearsals begin the week of September 23rd and will take place on either Mondays or Tuesdays, depending on the role assigned.
  • Mandatory Dress Rehearsals and Performances will be held at the Galvin on March 24-26 6-7:30 with our performance on the 27th at 6:30pm.
Note: Actors will be placed in either Monday or Tuesday classes based on their assigned role in the show.
