WARRIOR WEEK CLINIC IS HERE!
Calling all Wakefield kids entering Grades 1–8! Whether you already play football, play another sport, or have never stepped on a football field before, this clinic is for YOU.
Come spend three nights learning from the Wakefield Memorial High School coaching staff, current players, and Wakefield Youth Football coaches while building athletic skills, confidence, teamwork, and leadership in a fun, positive environment.
- Open to ALL Wakefield students entering Grades 1–8

Meet the 2026 Wakefield Warriors Coaching Staff
Coach Jim Rabbitt – Head Coach
Coach Rabbitt enters his 19th season coaching high school football and his first as Head Coach of the Warriors. Most recently, he spent nine years building the football program at KIPP Academy from the ground up, leading the team to a state championship appearance in 2023.
Known for his energy, passion, and commitment to player development, Coach Rabbitt is focused on strengthening the connection between Wakefield Youth Football and the high school program. His goal is to build a unified football culture that Wakefield players can be proud of throughout their entire football journey.
Coach Brian McDonough ('Coach Mac')
A native of Malden, Coach Mac brings decades of football experience to Wakefield. He served as both a longtime coach and Director of Football for Malden Pop Warner and has coached at Malden High School, Mystic Valley, Arlington Catholic, and Malden Catholic.
Fun Fact: Coach Mac played in the historic 100th Malden vs. Medford Thanksgiving Day Game.
Coach Brian Millea
A 2008 graduate of Wakefield Memorial High School, Coach Millea has been coaching football in Wakefield for 15 years, including seven seasons at the varsity level.
In addition to football, he has spent the last eight years coaching baseball at Beverly High School. Coach Millea’s deep roots in the Wakefield community make him a valuable part of the Warriors program.
Coach Matt Lech – Offensive Line & Tight Ends
Coach Lech played high school football at Whittier Tech and has dedicated the past 11 seasons to coaching football, including nine years at the high school level.
His coaching accomplishments include:
• 2× MIAA Super Bowl Champion
• 3× State Runner-Up
• 14U Pop Warner New England Champion
Most recently, Coach Lech served as an assistant coach at King Philip Regional High School.
Coach James Brito-White
With more than 10 years of coaching experience, Coach Brito-White brings a player-first approach centered around culture, accountability, and development.
A former football player at Northern Michigan University, he believes in teaching the values of grit, preparation, and team-first leadership. Originally from the Malden area, he carries a strong New England work ethic into every program he serves, helping athletes grow both on and off the field.
Coach Elisee Pomilus – Defensive Line
A 2004 graduate of Malden High School, Coach Pomilus enjoyed a standout playing career that began locally and extended through the collegiate and professional levels.

Coach Pomilus also serves as a Physical Education and Health Teacher at Charlestown High School.
Coach Calvin Boudreau
Coach Boudreau has spent the past four years coaching football and basketball. A former three-sport captain and all-star athlete, he brings a competitive mindset and strong leadership skills to the Warriors staff.
Away from football, Calvin works for the City of Revere Department of Public Works, specializing in paving and concrete operations.
Coach Jonathan Murphy
A former collegiate football player and 2024 graduate of Endicott College, Coach Murphy is originally from Revere, Massachusetts.
He specializes in developing wide receivers and defensive backs, focusing on skill development, technique, and football IQ. His energy and recent playing experience provide a valuable perspective for Wakefield athletes.
Coach Paul Norton – Associate Head Coach & Offensive Coordinator
Coach Norton enters his first season as Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator for Wakefield Memorial High School.
A native of Revere, Massachusetts, he brings more than a decade of coaching experience and a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
A four-year football player at Plymouth State University, Coach Norton has previously coached at:
• Revere High School (6 seasons)
• Malden Catholic (3 seasons)
• KIPP Academy (1 season)
Throughout his coaching career, Coach Norton has helped build successful offensive programs while emphasizing toughness, discipline, accountability, and teamwork.
Coach Norton is excited to be a part of the Wakefield football family and help continue building a championship culture for the Warriors.
