Community Gardens 2025 - Community Garden 2025 Community Garden: 2025 Season upon assignment of a garden plot, Dan McGrath, Wakefield Recreation Director, will meet with gardeners to review rules and expectations. At any point, gardeners can direct questions and concerns to Dan McGrath at dmcgrath@wakefield.ma.us or 781.246.6389. Application process. Managed by Wakefield’s Recreation Department, the garden will feature over 40 4’ x 8’ individual plots in J.J. Round Park on Main Street. The space will include rain barrels, direct water access, compost bins, and an equipment shed. Plot applications will be accepted from a maximum of two adults per household.
